Let’s journey to the mountains of divinity with Bhutan Best Inbound Tour and explore various peaceful monasteries and mountains in Bhutan which are beyond the appearances of the ordinary world.. Here is a list of aesthetic spots in Bhutan.

1. Buddha Dordenma

Buddha Dordenma, which towers over Thimphu valley, is a magnificent sight. You can catch sight of the entire Thimphu city from here. It is a perfect place conducive to sitting and relaxing your body and mind and practicing mindfulness. You can choose to sit in front of the gigantic Buddha statue in the Dhyana mudra (meditation posture) or just climb the hill behind the statue of the Buddha and be alone and quiet the mind.

It was completed in 2015 and was built for the nation's prosperity. The Buddha Dordenma is a renowned pilgrimage site for locals and a major tourist attraction, standing 51 meters tall.

Make a point of climbing up behind Buddha to get a bird's-eye view.

2. Tiger's Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang)

The Tiger's Nest Monastery is also called Taktsang Monastery, is just outside of Paro and is the most popular tourist attraction in Bhutan.

The Tiger's Nest Monastery and the whole place around it is considered sacred and believed to have been blessed by the presence of the Great Tantric Master Guru Rinpoche. If you are at this place take a moment to sit in silence and take in the positive energy of the place.

The Tiger Nest Hike is Bhutan's most sacred site and should not be missed. Because many visitors only stay for four days in the country, this is a popular choice because it's near the airport and only takes a couple of hours to climb.

It is a 1000 meter ascent to a height of around 3000 meters. The beautiful monastery that clings to the side of a cliff is what makes this walk so amazing.

Tiger's Nest Monastery is likely to be the first image you see while searching for Bhutan photographs.

3. Dechen Phodrang Monastery

The initial dzong of the city was Dechen Phrodrang. Dzongs were formerly fortifications in Tibet and Bhutan's Himalayan mountains.

They were converted into administrative structures and now house Bhutan's administrative centers.

Dechen Phrodrang Monastery was once the country's administrative center, but it is now a monastery institution.

During our visit, we learned that many impoverished people go to monasteries to study because their food, education, and clothing are all paid for.

Many of the boys who remain in the system go on to become teachers.

The guys are pleasant and seem to enjoy having their photos taken so far (owing to Bhutan's low tourist numbers). This place makes the Bhutan Spiritual Tour more divine and peaceful.

4. Paro Rinpung Dzong

Paro Rinpung Dzong is a monastery set on a hillside and locally interpreted as "fortress atop a mound of diamonds," is well worth a visit.

This Bhutan Monastery also serves as Paro's administrative center.

The 14 shrines and chapels, as well as the high walls and magnificent wall murals, are all noteworthy features.

A fortification named Ta Dzong, which houses the National Museum of Bhutan, is located just outside this lovely residence.

5. Aja Nye

A rock inscription at Aja Nye reads: Sacred Aja’s values and merits shall transcend all human imagination; A mere visit shall bring peace and happiness; visualization alone will lead to enlightenment; Aja is comparable to the western heavenly abode.

At more than 3,500 meters above sea level, Aja Nye is an ultimate sacred land. It takes three days to see the numerous sites blessed by Guru Padmasambhava in the 8th century. The Guru Came to Aja following the trail of an evil Tibetan King, Khikharatoed, who was trying to destroy Buddhism by establishing his empire at Aja. The place hosts Guru Rinpoche’s foot prints, body prints, the print of his seat, prints indicating subjugation of evil, Khandro Dowa Zangmo’s footprints, and 108 retreat caves of the Guru. They are located in mountains, bamboo groves, meadows, gorges, and dense forests, Legends has it that Aja was discovered by a renowned Buddhist master with a divine tiger acting as his guide.

  1. Aja Chu Cave

The Guru meditated here for three months. Exactly 100 sacred “Aa '' letters are imprinted in the cave, thus the name Aja.

2.            Aja Chu Menchu

Possesses medicinal values with curative effect on 18 diseases such as tuberculosis, body ache, ulcer, and whooping cough.

3.            Awa Chu

The stream falls from the rocky cliff that supposedly came into existence after the Guru’s walking stick was embedded in the rock. The pool underneath is warm  in winter and cool in summer.

4.            Tsa Awa Doti

A kind of grass considered sacred and believed to have medicinal values. The grass is believed to be sacred as it is associated with Guru Rinochue.

5.            Phuning

Considered the heart of all Nyes in the area, the ultimate meditation site for learned Buddhist masters.

The best time to visit is between the months of April and October.

The other places that you can include in your Bhutan Spiritual Tour can be Dra Karpo, Menchugang, Chumphu Nye , Kurje Lhakhang, Tashigang Goenpa , Gangtey Monastery and Kila Nunnery.
